car number plates in california will soon display just how green the car wearing them is. laws have been passed which mean that each vehicle will have a sticker on their licence plate which will display a number between 1 and 10 with 10 being the greenest and 1 being a smoggy polluter. They hope it will shame drivers of gas guzzlers to turn eco friendly.
